About my love for painting
More than 30 years of exploration
Everything in my life moves but painting has always been a constant. It doesn't matter where I go. Both of my grandmothers and mother have been drawing and painting (in very different styles). Visiting museums was always a common activity as kid and painting was always my favoruite activity. Realism was never my aim but the creation of potential worlds while exploring the inner world.

Love is the most important tool to defend ourselves from this world that can be unsafe.
To see
To see or not to see?
I see more with my eyes closed, that's my comfort zone.
I imagine worlds and I see how the worlds imagine me. When I open them I am astonished, the world is surreal, abstract and the hyper realism of it intrigues me. So I take photographs and wear them in me like memories, like a necklace I never take off. I am never really naked.
Duality
Exploration of inner contrast, what warmth means and when it burns, what cold means and when it silences. When silence heals and sound drawns, when they say drowning is the only way to learn to swim but one have to find own ways, maybe unleash the wings instead.
Runners
Painting made in a wall of about 6x4 metres in a sneakers store specialist for runners. The location is a runners' club as well. The silhouette experiences nature and music while running.
